ESG at Enoc Fuels

Sustainability. Responsibility. Transparency.

At Enoc Fuels, we recognise that our role within the global aviation fuel supply chain extends well beyond commercial performance. As a licensed and operationally active UK based aviation fuel company, we acknowledge the responsibilities our activities carry across environmental, social, and governance (ESG) dimensions. These responsibilities are not aspirational statements; they are integral to the way we operate, govern, and engage with our stakeholders.

We believe that delivering aviation fuel in a compliant, safe, and commercially efficient manner must be matched by an equal commitment to sustainability, transparency, and long-term sectoral responsibility. As the aviation industry continues to evolve to meet new environmental and operational standards, Enoc Fuels is aligning its practices with international best standards in emissions reduction, ethical governance, and stakeholder accountability.

Our ESG approach reflects both our core business values and our obligations to regulators, clients, and the wider community, ensuring that our growth contributes positively to a more sustainable aviation future

Environmental Responsibility

Minimising Impact, Enabling Efficiency

Enoc Fuels operates exclusively through infrastructure designed to minimise environmental impact while maintaining optimal operational efficiency. Our supply model focuses on sourcing aviation fuel from accredited UK refiners and coordinating delivery through airport integrated fuel farms and hydrant networks. This approach reduces dependence on road transport, lowers ground level carbon emissions, and enhances environmental performance in line with recognised industry best practice.

Every litre of fuel supplied under Enoc Fuels’ supervision complies with internationally recognised specifications, including DEF STAN 91-091 and ASTM D1655, which define fuel composition, handling, and quality assurance standards. All fuel is delivered through regulated airport systems, where emissions, leakage risks, and contamination potential are tightly controlled through engineered safeguards and stringent operational procedures. These measures are reinforced by contractual compliance requirements, ensuring that all upstream and ground handling partners maintain full traceability, quality documentation, and emissions control evidence where applicable.

Enoc Fuels is actively evaluating the integration of Sustainable Aviation Fuel (SAF) within its future operational framework. This initiative aligns with the UK’s Renewable Transport Fuel Obligation (RTFO) and supports our long term objective of contributing to the aviation sector’s net zero transition. While we do not own or operate refining or production facilities, we recognise the strategic importance of SAF in reducing lifecycle emissions and are preparing our commercial and technical systems to support its deployment as market readiness and infrastructure capacity evolve.

Although our direct emissions footprint remains limited due to our non handling operational model, Enoc Fuels requires all logistics and airport based partners to hold valid environmental certifications such as ISO 14001 or equivalent. These accreditations ensure robust environmental management standards, and we regularly review contractor practices across our supply chain to uphold them.

Our environmental strategy is dual focused: first, to reduce our operational footprint through low emission, airport integrated delivery systems; and second, to advance long term decarbonisation through SAF integration, emissions transparency, and alignment with evolving environmental policy. These commitments are not aspirational targets, they are embedded within our operational frameworks, partner selection criteria, and measurable governance standards

Health, Safety, Security and Environment (HSSE)

Zero Harm, Zero Compromise

At Enoc Fuels, Health, Safety, Security and Environment (HSSE) standards are not viewed as regulatory obligations but as the foundation of our operational credibility. Every element of our activity, whether commercial, logistical, or contractual, is governed by the principle that safety and environmental integrity must never be compromised.

We work exclusively with airport authorised operators who hold all required licences, insurances, and clearances, and who operate in accordance with the United Kingdom’s national aviation frameworks. All fuelling operations conducted on our behalf are required to comply with Joint Inspection Group (JIG) standards, IATA Fuel Quality Pool (IFQP) procedures, and airport specific health, safety, and environmental regulations.

Enoc Fuels does not permit any deviation from established safety requirements. All partners are contractually obligated to report any incident, near miss, or operational irregularity within twenty four hours. This includes fuel quality concerns, delivery malfunctions, or any event that may impact the integrity of the supply chain. We enforce strict documentation and reporting protocols covering delivery records, filtration logs, and contamination control documentation, and we reserve the right to request or audit these at any time for verification purposes. Contracts explicitly reflect this uncompromising position, with the right to suspend supply immediately in the event of any breach.

We undertake regular internal HSSE reviews across both Enoc Fuels’ operations and our wider supply chain. These assessments extend beyond documentation to evaluate safety culture, escalation readiness, and real world performance. Our proactive compliance framework requires all partners to reconfirm annually that they continue to meet the standards established by the UK Civil Aviation Authority, relevant airport authorities, and their own internal HSSE systems.

Since inception, Enoc Fuels has operated with no HSSE breaches, reflecting the discipline, accountability, and commitment that underpin every aspect of our business. We remain fully dedicated to maintaining this record through continuous improvement, forward looking risk management, and a company wide culture of responsibility.

Social Responsibility

Ethical Conduct, Local Presence

At Enoc Fuels, we recognise that the sustainability of our operations depends not only on technical compliance but also on the way we conduct ourselves within our communities and among our stakeholders. As a company fully registered and operating in the United Kingdom, we take our obligations seriously, upholding the values of integrity, equality, transparency, and responsible business practice. All business functions, from administration to compliance and finance, are conducted under the jurisdiction and legal framework of England and Wales.

Our management and directorial team are UK based and guided by the highest standards of fitness, propriety, and accountability under UK company law. Every individual acting on behalf of Enoc Fuels is required to understand and comply with their legal and ethical responsibilities. This includes adherence to the UK Bribery Act, the Equality Act, and the Companies Act. Directors and staff alike are expected to act with honesty, avoid conflicts of interest, and uphold their duties in the best interests of the company and its stakeholders.

We are committed to workforce diversity and social inclusion. Enoc Fuels is an equal opportunity employer, ensuring fair and transparent recruitment, non discriminatory practices, competitive compensation, and safe working environments. All staff are employed directly under UK contracts, with no human resources or recruitment functions outsourced overseas, ensuring full compliance with local employment laws and protections.

Our presence at UK airports is operational and long term. We engage proactively with airport authorities, fuel farm operators, logistics partners, and compliance teams to reflect the highest standards of ethical conduct. This includes structured training programmes, safety briefings, and awareness initiatives designed to embed social responsibility into everyday operations.

Through these measures, Enoc Fuels aims to be more than a fuel supplier. We strive to be a trusted partner to the aviation sector and a responsible contributor to the communities that support and depend on the safe and efficient movement of international aviation.

Governance and Transparency

Built on Compliance and Oversight

At Enoc Fuels, we operate within a governance framework that prioritises legal clarity, auditability, and transparent oversight. The company is fully registered in England and Wales and is authorised by HMRC as a Registered Dealer in Controlled Oils (RDCO), a statutory requirement for businesses engaged in commercial aviation fuel sales. This authorisation confirms our full compliance with UK excise duty, reporting, and taxation obligations.

Every financial transaction is recorded, reconciled, and audited through professional accounting systems supported by internal controls and independent oversight. Invoices, payment flows, and supplier agreements are reviewed against a structured compliance matrix to ensure accuracy in VAT reporting, contractual performance, and HMRC aligned client account management. No transaction is processed without verification of its contractual and operational basis.

We approach all commercial agreements with the same discipline. Every contract undergoes detailed legal review to ensure the inclusion of jurisdiction clauses, remedies, dispute resolution mechanisms, and indemnity provisions that protect both Enoc Fuels and its partners. Agreements are governed under UK law or, where appropriate, under internationally recognised jurisdictions such as the Dubai International Financial Centre. Strategic partnerships are never generic; each is individually negotiated and tailored to reflect the scope, value, and operational complexity of the relationship.

Data governance is a fundamental element of our compliance structure. Enoc Fuels is fully compliant with UK GDPR requirements and enforces strict protocols for data storage, access, retention, and breach notification. Sensitive information, including client data, regulatory records, and commercial correspondence, is secured through encrypted systems with controlled access rights. To date, we have maintained a record of zero data breaches.

For Enoc Fuels, governance extends beyond compliance. It reflects our core values of transparency, accountability, and legal integrity. As the company grows, we continue to refine our governance practices to ensure that fiduciary responsibility and ethical oversight remain central to every aspect of our business.
